We ship all orders within one business day. Please allow 24 hours for tracking status to update. For delivery time estimates, click here.
We do not take orders by phone at this time. Usually, checkout problems occur because of an address or zip code mismatch. Ensure the information you're entering matches what your credit provider has on file, or checkout using PayPal. If you are still unable to checkout, please email firstname.lastname@example.org and provide specific details about the issue.
Either the checkout hasn't been completed successfully or your email address may have been entered incorrectly. Send us an email to email@example.com and we'll make sure you're in our system correctly and send you the checkout/shipping confirmation for your order.
Don't worry, we cancel any duplicate orders before shipping.

Most of our items are seasonal so we do not restock once it has sold out. Plus, we have to make room for new products! Subscribe to our newsletter to hear about new products when they arrive.
Please contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org with the correct shipping address. If you have received a shipping confirmation (which is sent up to one business day after the checkout confirmation email) then your order has already been shipped. Please track your package by following the link in the shipping confirmation email to file a claim with USPS to attempt to have your package redirected to the correct address. If USPS is unable to redirect the package and the status appears as "undeliverable", we will ship it out to the correct address once it is returned to our warehouse.
Each country has a different customs process and we are unable to give a specific delivery date. Please track your package by following the link in the shipping confirmation email. If the status shows that the package has arrived in your country, please contact your local post.
We recommend that you place a new order to be sure that we don't sell out of the item you're looking for. Next, ship back the item/s that didn't fit and note the new order number on the return packing slip so that we can give you a refund for the original order. Alternatively, you can ship back the incorrect size and note the item you would like to exchange it for on the return packing slip, but keep in mind that the correct size may sell out before we have processed the return. In either case, be sure that your exchange meets the requirements of our return/exchange policy.
Returns are processed within five business days. Once your return has been processed, you will receive an email with your store credit code.
If your order hasn't shipped yet, please contact us at email@example.com. Per our Return Policy, we only offer exchange or store credit once your order ships.
Although we only sell premium swimwear, this happens on occasion. If your swimwear is defective, please email firstname.lastname@example.org with a picture and details about the defect. Do not ship the item back to us unless it has been approved for return.
The Girl & The Water reserves the right to refuse the package and/or return to sender should the merchandise not meet these requirements. Please contact customer service if you have any questions.
- Store Credit
All Returns & Exchanges must meet the following requirements
- Merchandise must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged and unused.
- Merchandise must be free of make-up, deodorant, or any other stains.
- Merchandise must have all original tags and accessories attached.
- The protective hygienic slip must not be removed from swimwear.
- The package must be postmarked within fourteen (14) days of delivery.

- Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
- We do not reimburse your shipping charges for returns/exchanges.
- Store credit may not be used for return shipping charges.
- In-person returns to our online fulfillment center will not be accepted.
- Returns/exchanges are processed within 5 business days.
- You will be notified via email once your return/exchange has processed.
- If the item requested for exchange is unavailable, a store credit will be issued.

Once the return/exchange safely arrives at The Girl & The Water, we will inspect the item(s) condition. (Note - Any merchandise that does not meet the requirements of our Return Policy will not be accepted. See Return & Exchange Policy.) Please allow 3-5 business days for your return/exchange to be processed.
Authenticity & Warranty
The Girl & The Water only carries merchandise that is authentic, first-run, and purchased directly from the designer. Please be aware that even such products are not entirely free of workmanship errors, including occasional missing threads and similar defects. If within the first thirty days, such a problem has been identified with your merchandise please contact us at email@example.com with a picture and description of the defect. Damaged Items should be reported to customer service immediately (before returning package) to ensure your refund or exchange is properly processed.
